Founded in 1970, Blanchardstown & District Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution that is owned and controlled by its members. Its mission is to promote financial well-being within the community by encouraging savings and providing access to credit at fair and reasonable rates. Unlike commercial banks, any surplus generated is returned to the members through dividends or reinvested to improve services, rather than being distributed to external shareholders.
