BitcoinLatina Foundation is a non-profit civil association that was established to promote and manage the development of the BitcoinLatina (BCL) cryptocurrency. Launched around the 2017 ICO boom, its stated mission was to create a cryptocurrency tailored for the Latin American market to facilitate payments and enhance financial inclusion. However, based on the cessation of development activity on its official GitHub repository and the suspension or unavailability of its social media accounts since 2018, the project is considered dormant and inactive.
