Founded in 1996, the Big Red Investment Club (BRIC) is an undergraduate student organization at Cornell University dedicated to providing an educational platform for students to learn the fundamentals of value investing. The club manages a real-money, long-only equity portfolio. Its activities are centered around a rigorous process where members in sector-specific teams research companies, develop investment theses, and present stock pitches to the entire club for a vote on inclusion in the portfolio. The club's mission is educational, aiming to prepare members for careers in finance through practical, hands-on experience.
