Founded in 1948 as the University of Louisville Credit Union, Beacon Community Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and governed by its members. Its mission is to serve as a financial beacon, guiding its members by providing affordable, high-quality financial services, including savings and checking accounts, various loan types, and digital banking solutions. As a cooperative, it returns profits to its members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
