Established in 1978, BAT REGULATED NON-WDT SACCO is a financial institution operating under the Co-operative Societies Act of Kenya and regulated by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA). Its primary mission is to promote thrift among its members by offering a platform for accumulating savings and creating a source of funds for affordable credit. As a "Non-Withdrawable Deposit-Taking" (NON-WDT) SACCO, it primarily mobilizes savings from its members which are not withdrawable but can be used as collateral for loans or paid out upon cessation of membership.
