Bank Syariah Mandiri PT
Information by Research Trustfinance
Originally established in 1999 as a subsidiary of the state-owned PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) grew to become one of Indonesia's largest and most prominent Islamic banks. The bank was dedicated to providing a full range of banking products and services based on Islamic Sharia principles, including financing, savings, and investment products for retail, SME, and corporate customers. In a major government-led initiative to strengthen the national Islamic finance industry, Bank Syariah Mandiri, along with BRI Syariah and BNI Syariah, was officially merged on February 1, 2021, to create PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI). BSI now continues the mission of advancing the Sharia economy in Indonesia on a much larger scale.
