The Bank of Industry Limited (BOI) is a Nigerian development finance institution (DFI) established to provide long-term financing and business support services to the industrial sector of the Nigerian economy. Originally incorporated as the Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB) in 1964, it was reconstructed into the Bank of Industry Limited in 2001. Its core mandate is to transform Nigeria's industrial sector by providing financial assistance for the establishment of large, medium, and small projects, as well as the expansion, diversification, and modernization of existing enterprises. BOI is wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) Nigeria and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
