Founded in 2006 by presidential decree, Banco Nacional de Guinea Ecuatorial (BANGE) serves as the financial arm of the Government of Equatorial Guinea. Its primary mission is to finance the national economy, support the growth of national companies (SMEs and SMIs), and provide modern banking services to the public. BANGE has grown to become a key player in the national financial system and aims to be a leading bank within the CEMAC sub-region, with an expanding presence that includes operations in Cameroon and a representative office in Spain.
