BAMC Finance Plc.
Information by Research TrustFinance
The Bank Assets Management Company (BAMC) was established by the Republic of Slovenia in March 2013 to facilitate the restructuring of systemically important banks facing severe financial difficulties. Its primary mission was to stabilize the Slovenian banking system by acquiring and managing non-performing loans (NPLs) and other distressed assets from these banks. Over its lifespan, BAMC worked to maximize the recovery value from this portfolio through restructuring, divestment, and other management strategies. As its mandate was successfully completed, BAMC's operations officially ended, and the company was dissolved without liquidation on December 31, 2022, with its remaining assets and liabilities transferred to the Slovenian Sovereign Holding (SSH).
