Founded in 1998, Axioma, Inc. established itself as a leading provider of multi-asset class risk management, portfolio construction, and performance attribution solutions for institutional investors. In 2019, the company was acquired by Deutsche Börse and merged with its STOXX and DAX index businesses to form a new entity called Qontigo. Subsequently, in 2023, Qontigo merged with Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) to become ISS STOXX. Today, the Axioma brand and its suite of sophisticated software products, such as Axioma Portfolio Optimizer and Axioma Risk, continue to operate and innovate as a core part of the ISS STOXX offerings, serving asset managers, hedge funds, and asset owners globally.
