On 28 October 2022, Australian Food Super completed a merger with Hostplus, another prominent industry super fund with strong ties to the hospitality, tourism, and recreation sectors. The merger aimed to leverage greater scale to reduce costs, enhance investment opportunities, and improve services for all members, who are now part of the larger Hostplus fund.
