Founded in 1994, the Colombian Association of Pension and Severance Fund Administrators (Asofondos) is a non-profit organization that brings together and represents the private companies managing pension and severance funds in Colombia. Its mission is to promote the development of the individual savings pension system, represent the collective interests of its member AFPs (Colfondos, Porvenir, Protección, and Skandia), and contribute to public policy discussions on social and economic security. Asofondos acts as a technical spokesperson, conducts research, and educates the public about the importance of saving for retirement.
