Founded in 1957, Artigiancredito Toscano is a cooperative mutual guarantee institution (Confidi) supervised by the Bank of Italy. Its core mission is to facilitate access to credit for its member businesses, primarily artisans and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Tuscany region. It achieves this by providing guarantees to traditional banks on behalf of SMEs, thereby reducing the banks' risk and improving loan approval chances. In addition to credit guarantees, the company also offers direct financing, subsidized credit options, and specialized financial consulting to support the growth and stability of local enterprises.
