American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc. (AHMSI) was a prominent servicer of residential mortgage loans in the United States. The company managed a large portfolio of mortgages, handling tasks such as collecting payments from homeowners, managing escrow accounts, and processing foreclosures. In 2012, in the aftermath of the financial crisis, AHMSI's servicing platform was acquired by Ocwen Financial Corporation. Following the acquisition, the entity was rebranded as Homeward Residential, Inc. and was eventually fully integrated into Ocwen's operations. The original AHMSI brand no longer exists in the market.
