Originally chartered in 1954 as the Fort Lewis Federal Credit Union, America's Credit Union (ACU) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative dedicated to serving its members. As a member-owned institution, its profits are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher dividends on deposits, and fewer fees. ACU offers a comprehensive suite of financial products and services, including checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, personal loans, and credit cards, primarily serving the military community at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and residents of Washington State.
