Founded in 1922 as the Fairhaven Postal Credit Union, Alltrust Credit Union has a long history of serving its community. Originally for U.S. Postal Service employees, it became a community-chartered credit union in 2004, later rebranding from Southern Mass Credit Union to Alltrust Credit Union in 2021. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to provide a full range of financial services, including personal and business banking, loans, and mortgages, while prioritizing the financial well-being of its members over profits.
