The platform allowed developers and quant traders to code, backtest, and list their trading algorithms for sale or lease. Retail investors and traders could then browse this marketplace, select a strategy that matched their risk profile, and deploy it in their own brokerage accounts. In 2021, the company and its intellectual property were acquired by TradeTron.tech, a larger, more established player in the same algo-trading marketplace space, to consolidate their market position and integrate AlgoBrain's user base and technology.
