Founded in 1992, Aktuell Lohnsteuerhilfeverein e.V. is a registered, non-profit wage tax assistance association ("Lohnsteuerhilfeverein") in Germany. As one of the country's leading associations of its kind, its mission is to provide comprehensive tax-related services exclusively to its members. Under the German Tax Consultancy Act (§ 4 No. 11 StBerG), their services are limited to employees, civil servants, pensioners, and retirees. The association assists members with preparing their annual income tax returns, checking tax assessments, and providing year-round tax advice, operating through a nationwide network of over 750 consultation centers.
