Airstash
Information by Research TrustFinance
Airstash was a consumer electronics product line, notably manufactured and sold by Maxell. It was a pocket-sized device that combined a USB flash drive with an SD card slot and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. Its primary function was to solve storage limitations on early-generation smartphones and tablets (like iPhones and iPads) by allowing users to wirelessly access files stored on an SD card via a dedicated mobile app. The product gained popularity in the early 2010s but was eventually rendered obsolete by the widespread adoption of cloud storage services and increased internal storage on mobile devices. The product line has since been discontinued.
