Agricultural Commodity Exchange for Africa
Information by Research TrustFinance
Established in 2006 with support from the European Union, the Agricultural Commodity Exchange for Africa (ACE) was created to establish a secure, efficient, and transparent trading platform for agricultural commodities. Its mission is to empower smallholder farmers, reduce transaction costs, and mitigate price risks by providing a reliable market. ACE's core services include operating a trading floor, a Warehouse Receipt System (WRS) that allows farmers to use their stored produce as collateral for financing, and a Market Information System (MIS) to disseminate real-time pricing data.
