Founded in 1995, Advocates & Guardians for the Elderly & Disabled, Inc. (AGED) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving as court-appointed legal guardians for indigent and incapacitated adults who have no family or friends able to serve in that role. The organization's mission is to protect the rights and dignity of these vulnerable individuals by managing their personal, financial, and medical affairs. AGED professionals handle everything from ensuring proper housing and healthcare to managing assets and paying bills, acting in the best interest of their wards under the supervision of the court.
