Founded in 1937, Abbey Credit Union originated to serve the employees of the F. & F. Koenig Co. and the St. Christopher Parish community. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to provide a range of affordable financial services, including savings and checking accounts, loans (auto, mortgage, personal), and credit cards, with a focus on community development and member benefit rather than profit generation.
