Founded in 1972 by the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC), WEA Member Benefits was established to provide Wisconsin public school employees with a quality 403(b) retirement savings program. Operating as a non-profit trust, the organization is governed by a board of trustees composed of educators, ensuring that its mission remains focused on serving the best interests of its members rather than generating profits. Over the years, its offerings have expanded to include a comprehensive suite of financial products and services, such as IRA programs, personal financial planning, and various insurance policies including auto, home, and life insurance.
