Vivat N.V., formerly part of the SNS Reaal group, was a major player in the Dutch financial services market. The company's core business focused on providing pensions and life insurance through its well-known brands, including Zwitserleven and Reaal. It also operated a significant asset management division under the name ACTIAM. In 2019, it was announced that Vivat would be acquired, and the transaction was completed in April 2020. The insurance business was sold to Athora Netherlands, while the asset management activities (ACTIAM) were sold to NN Group, effectively leading to the dissolution of Vivat as an independent operating group.
