Tulaa was a Kenyan-based agritech company that operated a mobile commerce platform for smallholder farmers. The company's mission was to improve farmers' livelihoods by connecting them with quality, affordable farm inputs (like seeds and fertilizer), providing access to financial services (credit) to purchase these inputs, and linking them to buyers for their harvest. Farmers used SMS and a mobile app to place orders and make payments. However, after failing to secure a new round of funding, Tulaa ceased operations in late 2021.
