Originally established in 1964, Transport Mutual Credit Union (TMCU) was a member-owned cooperative dedicated to providing banking and financial services to employees and their families within the Australian transport industry. Its mission was to offer a friendly, fair, and community-focused alternative to traditional banks. On 1 March 2022, Transport Mutual Credit Union merged with Unity Bank Limited. It continues to operate under its brand name as a division of Unity Bank, serving its core membership while being part of a larger, diversified mutual bank.
