Established in 2018 by Law No. 177, The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) is an independent entity wholly owned by the Arab Republic of Egypt. Its primary mission is to attract private investment into Egypt and to co-invest in and manage state-owned assets to maximize their value and efficiency. TSFE operates with a private-sector mindset, aiming to create wealth and contribute to the country's sustainable economic development by partnering with both local and international investors across various strategic sectors, including tourism, real estate, infrastructure, healthcare, and financial services.
