Established in 1979, The Co-operative Credit Union League of Bangladesh Ltd. (CCULB) serves as the central national federation for the country's credit union movement. Its mission is to promote, develop, and support member credit unions through a variety of services including education and training, development and supervision, IT support, and risk management via a stabilization fund. CCULB also provides cooperative life insurance and mutual benefit services (CLIMBS) to safeguard the financial well-being of credit union members, thereby strengthening the entire cooperative financial system in Bangladesh.
