The Citadel's Student Managed Investment Fund, also known as the Bulldog Investment Fund, is a hands-on educational initiative of the Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business. Established in 2012 with an initial gift, the fund's primary mission is to provide students with practical experience in investment management and security analysis. Selected senior finance students are responsible for all aspects of the fund's operations, including research, stock selection, and portfolio management, under the guidance of a faculty advisor. The fund operates with a real-money portfolio, aiming to enhance student learning beyond theoretical classroom concepts.
