B&R Beurs is the student investment society of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, founded in 1983 to help students learn about the financial world. Taurus Investments is one of the oldest and largest investment groups within this society. Comprised of students, the group collectively manages a real-money investment portfolio, competing against other groups within the society. Their mission is educational, focusing on gaining practical investment experience, developing financial analysis skills, and building a professional network through activities, workshops, and company visits organized by the parent society, B&R Beurs. It is not a commercial financial services firm.
