Stichting Toekenningen Rechtenvergoedingen Kabel (STERK) is a collective management organization based in the Netherlands. Its primary mission is to collect and distribute copyright fees from network operators (like cable companies) that retransmit television and radio broadcasts. These funds are then paid out to the various copyright holders, including composers, artists, producers, and broadcasters, through their respective representative organizations. STERK ensures that rights holders are fairly compensated for the use of their work in accordance with Dutch copyright law.
