SACRRA is a non-profit, voluntary association of members who share credit and risk information with each other through registered credit bureaus. Established in 2016, its primary mission is to foster a fair, transparent, and effective credit reporting system in South Africa. The association develops and maintains a comprehensive data layout (the SACRRA Data Layout), sets data submission standards, and promotes data quality to ensure that the information held by credit bureaus is accurate and reliable, ultimately supporting responsible lending and borrowing practices.
