Founded in 1991, SolArc provided integrated software solutions that helped companies manage the entire lifecycle of physical and financial commodity trading. Its flagship product, RightAngle, was widely used for trade capture, scheduling, risk management, and settlement in the crude oil, petroleum products, natural gas, and power industries. The company was acquired by OpenLink Financial in 2011, and OpenLink itself was later acquired by ION Group in 2018, where the SolArc technology continues to be developed as a core part of ION's CTRM offerings.
