SOFIM - GEFINA S.p.A. (an acronym for Società di Gestioni Finanziarie ed Azionarie) was a key financial investment and holding company based in Italy. Historically, it served as one of the primary holding companies for the business interests of the prominent Pesenti family. Its main purpose was the management of a diverse portfolio of equity investments in various sectors. Over time, as part of a broader corporate restructuring, the assets and functions of GEFINA were integrated into Italmobiliare S.p.A., the Pesenti family's publicly listed investment holding company. Following this integration, SOFIM - GEFINA S.P.A. entered into liquidation and is no longer an active operational entity.
