Serve and Protect Credit Union is a financial institution owned by and run for its members. Established to serve those in the Police, Military, Prison & Probation, and Fire & Rescue services, its mission is to provide ethical savings and affordable loan services. As a not-for-profit cooperative, any surplus is returned to members through dividends or used to enhance services. The credit union was formed in 2015 through the merger of the Police Credit Union and Forces Credit Union, combining their long histories of serving the UK's protective services.
