Founded in 1998, the School Tuition Association of Yuma, Inc. (STAY) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit School Tuition Organization (STO). It operates under Arizona's innovative private school tuition tax credit law. The organization's mission is to make private education more accessible and affordable for families in Yuma County. STAY accomplishes this by receiving tax-credit donations from Arizona taxpayers and then awarding those funds as scholarships to eligible K-12 students attending qualified private schools.
