Saudi Venture Capital (SVC) is a government investment company established in 2018 by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at) as part of the Private Sector Stimulus Plan of Saudi Arabia. With a current fund size of over SAR 4 billion, SVC's mission is to minimize the equity financing gap for startups by investing in venture capital funds and co-investing with angel groups and institutional investors. The company's strategy focuses on a "fund of funds" model to support the development of the venture capital ecosystem, thereby fostering the growth of innovative startups and contributing to the diversification of the Saudi Arabian economy.
