Founded in 1948 by employees of Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, Salal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative with a mission to serve the financial needs of its members. Originally known as Group Health Employees Credit Union, it has since grown to serve a diverse membership base. As a member-owned institution, its profits are returned to members in the form of competitive loan rates, lower fees, and enhanced services, focusing on personal and business banking, home and auto loans, and investment services.
