Founded in 1973 as an investment bank, Raiffeisen Centrobank AG (RCB) established itself as a leading specialist in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) for structured products, equity trading, and company research. The bank focused on developing, issuing, and trading a wide range of investment certificates. As of April 29, 2023, Raiffeisen Centrobank AG was legally merged into its parent company, Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI). It now operates as a highly specialized unit within RBI, continuing its role as the group's competence center for certificates and equity capital markets.
