The company developed technology to streamline the application and approval process, offering a digital-first experience. In 2018, Quilt was acquired by MassMutual and its technology and operations were integrated into Haven Life, another online life insurance agency owned and backed by MassMutual. The Quilt brand now directs customers to the Haven Life platform.
