Founded in 1971, the Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Inc. (PLAN of MA & RI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities live dignified and meaningful lives. Their primary mission is to provide high-quality trustee and fiduciary services for Special Needs Trusts. By managing these trusts, PLAN of MA & RI helps protect beneficiaries' assets while preserving their eligibility for essential public benefits like MassHealth (Medicaid) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). They administer both pooled and individual special needs trusts, ensuring funds are used for the sole benefit of the individual with the disability.
