The Payments Association of Zambia (PAYZ) is a corporate body established in 2011 to serve as a forum for all stakeholders in the Zambian National Payment Systems. Its primary mandate is to facilitate discussion on matters of common interest, promote the development of a safe, efficient, and reliable national payment ecosystem, and represent its members' interests in engagements with regulators like the Bank of Zambia and other relevant bodies. The association includes members from various sectors, including commercial banks, payment service providers, mobile network operators, and other financial technology companies.
