Founded in 1936, Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution serving the Midlands of South Carolina. Originally established to serve the employees of the City of Columbia, it has since grown to become one of the largest credit unions in the state. Its mission is to provide quality financial services, such as checking and savings accounts, loans, and investment services, to its members, returning earnings in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and reduced fees.
