Originally established to serve the communities in the North Midlands area of the UK, North Midlands Credit Union provided its members with accessible savings accounts and affordable loan products. As a member-owned cooperative, its mission was to promote financial well-being and offer an ethical alternative to traditional banks and high-cost lenders. In 2021, North Midlands Credit Union merged with the larger Clockwise Credit Union to enhance its services, improve technology, and expand its operational reach, now serving members under the Clockwise brand.
