NIRSAL Connect is a strategic initiative of the Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL Plc.), which was established by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The platform's mission is to create a structured and digitized marketplace for Nigeria's agricultural sector. It connects pre-vetted producers (farmers), input suppliers, service providers, processors, and buyers (off-takers) in a single ecosystem. By creating this network, NIRSAL Connect aims to improve efficiency, increase transparency, provide reliable market access, and de-risk agricultural financing, thereby encouraging greater investment in agribusiness.
