NZ Private Capital, which rebranded from its former name the New Zealand Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (NZVCA), is the professional body for the private capital industry in New Zealand. Established in 2002, its mission is to develop a world-class private capital ecosystem by promoting the industry, facilitating a favorable investment environment, and fostering collaboration among its members. The association provides advocacy to the government, publishes research and data, hosts networking events and conferences, and sets professional standards for its members, who include venture capital and private equity investors, fund managers, and professional service providers.
