National Homebuyers Fund, Inc. (NHF) is a non-profit public benefit corporation and an instrumentality of government under Section 115 of the Internal Revenue Code. Its mission is to provide affordable and responsible homeownership opportunities for low- to moderate-income individuals and families. NHF accomplishes this by offering a variety of down payment assistance (DPA) programs, in the form of grants or secondary financing, which are accessible to homebuyers through a network of participating mortgage lenders across the country.
