National Bank of Poland
Information by Research Trustfinance
Established in 1945, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) is the central bank of Poland. Its core mission is to maintain price stability, with a secondary goal of supporting the government's economic policies, provided this does not conflict with the primary objective. The NBP's main tasks, as defined in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and the Act on the NBP, include implementing monetary policy, issuing the nation's currency (the Polish złoty), managing the official foreign exchange reserves, providing banking services to the state budget, and regulating the banking sector to ensure the stability of the financial system.
