Multicaixa Express is the official digital payments application of the Angolan interbank network, managed and operated by EMIS (Empresa Interbancária de Serviços S.A.). Launched as a mobile extension of the ubiquitous MULTICAIXA card system, the service's mission is to provide Angolan citizens with a secure, instant, and convenient way to manage their finances digitally. Through the app, users can perform a wide range of transactions, including person-to-person transfers, bill payments, mobile top-ups, and checking account balances, all from their mobile devices. The service is a cornerstone of Angola's financial infrastructure, driving digital transformation and financial inclusion under the supervision of the National Bank of Angola (Banco Nacional de Angola).
