Moxey Birmingham is a local chapter of the larger Moxey network, a business-to-business trade exchange. Its mission is to help local companies increase sales, manage cash flow, and attract new customers by providing an alternative payment system. Members use a proprietary digital currency called the "Moxey Dollar" to buy and sell from one another within the network. This allows businesses to turn excess inventory or unused capacity into purchasing power for other needed services or goods, thereby conserving cash for critical expenses.
